Who Is The "X-Ray Girl"?

The so-called X-ray girl is Natalia Demkina, a 16-year Russian who claims to be able to see through objects, including the human body.

Natalia insists she can diagnose illnesses just by looking at people, and even by looking at their photographs. The claims sound outlandish but she has been subjected to tests by scientific teams across the world and the results of the experiments appear to lend some validity to her claims.

A team of British scientists was convinced that she did have some mysterious power though a group of American scientists, after a series of tests sponsored by the Discovery Channel, branded her a failure because she was only able to diagnose illness in four out of seven cases. Some, including Nobel prize winner Brian Josephson, have questioned the methodology used by the American researchers, arguing that a success rate of four out of seven is indeed significant and should be taken seriously. Japanese scientists also tested the girl and agreed that she had some strange power though concluded that it was not X-ray vision.
