Do You Think There Was A Era When Religion Was More A Part Of Life?

I guess there has been a lot of distractions in the lives of people since we got more access to technology..computers, tv, even just the simple business of life..work etc. We got a bit overwhelmed and it seems that our days became shorter or something..haha. But it Doesn't mean all people got distracted or so busy they stopped attending church, though a lot may. I always attended church with my parents, stopped when I was 15 ..but when I was 19 after a lot of "distractions" I started to attend church again and was serious about it and still am. It isn't about the building or the people..but God that draws me there. Maybe if you don't have a conviction to go to "church" but go there because of your parents as soon as you can make the decision not to go..they stop, it takes your own conviction to attend.

I think everybody has their own distractions nowadays. Now like my parents don't go to church because they think they have other things to do. So they just sit at home with the family, which is now what Sunday is. They haven't lost their faith, they just lost their time in everything else. I don't get to go to church but i have many bibles and my local radio station has a 2 hour gospel time. They preach and sing gospel just like in my old church. I guess people seem to have other things to do.
