I Have Hair Falling Problem, Please Can You Help Me?

    The scalp sheds the hair that are resting every 2-3 months. That is why shedding some hair each day is considered as normal.  However, it is not considered as hair loss as it is part of the normal hair cycle. Excessive hair loss can be very dangerous as it is the underlying cause of many problems.

    There can be a number of causes of Hair loss such as the following:

    - Stress
    - A major surgery or illness
    - Hormonal problems such as an imbalance of androgen and estrogen.
    - Overactive or under active thyroid gland.
    - Pregnancy
    - Some medications such as blood thinners, gout medicines, chemotherapy medicines, Vitamin A, Birth control pills and antidepressants.
    - An underlying disease such as lupus or diabetes.
    - Improper care of hair
    - Too much use of straighteners and blowers or perming.

    Now if you have any of the above problems then you have a disease and you need to consult a doctor for proper advice. However, you can try out several home remedies that might work:

    - Use essential oils such of Grapefruit, Jojoba oil, Lavender, Cedar wood, Bay, Lemon, Rosemary and Roman Chamomile to massage your hair regularly.
    - Massage with olive oil before going to bed every night and wash thoroughly next day.
    - Massage coconut milk into the roots of hair and scalp.
    - Trim your hair every month.
    - Never brush your hair when wet.
    - Massage Aloe Vera gel or coconut milk and leave for about one hour. Hen rinse your hair with warm water.
