What Is The Scope Of Software Engineering In Pakistan And Is It Better Than Computer Science?

I am not very clear about what you mean by scopes. But here is stuff I know. In a school project, I read that Pakistan is a developing country in the fields of computers and telecommunication, so I am sure getting a job as a software engineer would not be difficult. As you mention Computer Sciences, much things are not offered. Many people after doing MSc in Comp S opt for teaching (as it is the only option available in your country for Computer Sciences if you are female) If you are not, then you can get jobs in small firms, banks, marketing, advertising but only on a small scale because a Master in Comp S only knows what is on the screen and hardware and only the upfront software. However if by some luck you manage to get a degree then perhaps you can go further and accomplish your career in Comp S. By getting good jobs on a higher pay scale. If you act on my advice, study Comp S initially, then go for IT, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Data Processing, Data Managing, System Analyst etc. I for myself would go for either Software Engineering or System Analyst. Actually both these fields have their own significance. Computer Sciences has more to do with front end and Software engineering at the back end. They both have their own demand factors. I you would suggest you to do what you are best at and what you have aptitude for. If you are good at Computer languages etc, then take Computer Sciences whereas if you are good with tools and techniques then do software engineering. However, in my personal opinion Software engineering is a better career as compared to computer sciences. It has more job scope.

In my point of view there is no scope of any computer related field in pakistan....but if want to choose from these two then i suggest u to do computer science....

I think that scope of computer engineering is very limited in pakistan because other technologies can also come in this field.In result its scope becoms limited.
Now should i join computer engineering in pakistan?
