The book "Belle Teal" is penned by the highly acclaimed author Ann M. Martin. She has shown her immense talent and command over English by publishing novels for children and adults.
This story is about Belle Teal Harper who resides with her mother and grandmother on the opposite side of the tracks. She is 10 years old. Belle is happy with her family and friends named Clarice and Little Boss. A new year of school has just begun and she notices several issues around her. She notices that her mother has a hard time juggling with the two jobs done to support the family. Little Boss is thrashed by his drunkard father, Big Boss. Two new students, which includes an Afri-American boy and a girl who is not only beautiful but harbours a secret.They are here to make life miserable for Belle. Soon Belle goes through all the problems and situation is switched back to normal.
