Before you start any electrical work!!! SHUT OFF POWER SOURCE AT FUSE/BREAKER BOX.
I'm going to assume you are replacing an existing one. If not, the same components are needed.
You have a source of power, you have a gang/junction box with a cover, and you have a on/ off switch ( light switch ). (make connections inside junction box)
from the source... White wire to the white wire from disposal
from the source... Black wire to screw on switch
from the disposal...black wire to other screw on switch.
Make sure you utilize ground wires.
Turn breaker back on flip on switch should work! Good luck
