    No. It was intended for us to use to help stimulate the economy, and therefore, not taxable.

      YES!!!  I just filed my taxes through turbo tax...they ask you how much you received from your stimulus check....that money is taken out of your return... What people don't understand is that...it was not free money...it was an advance on your tax return....so lets say you would normally receive 2500 for your tax refund... And last year you got a stimulus check for 500.00...your refund will now be 2000.00...yep..it was never free...it was just an advance(it was paid out early)...the government i tell ya(crafty devils they are).

      You can also go to h&r block tax calculator...type in your info before and after the stimulus check and you'll see that the amounts will be different..
