Blink - 182 are Tom Delonge (guitar and vocals), Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals) and Travis Barker (drummer). All three are in their early thirties. The band formed in 1992. They were originally called Blink, but changed their name due to another band from Ireland having the same name. The original line-up was Mark Hoppus, Tom Delonge and Scott Raynor. However, Scott left the band in 1997 and was replaced by Travis Barker, who was already a friend of the band and knew most of their songs. With Scott, the band gained succuss with their second album, 'Dude Ranch', having released their first album, 'Chesire Cat' back in 1995. The band decided to stop touring in 1998 to work on the album 'Enema of the State', which was even more successful than 'Dude Ranch' and gained new groups of listeners. 'Enema of the State' has now gone platinum, along with 'Dude Ranch'.
