What Do You Need To Know About Being On The Drill Team?

If you are planning to be on your schools or college drill team, you must know that it is a lot of hard work and practice. You will be the member of a large a drill team and will be expected to perform manoeuvres in the military style during parades, foot ball games and many other ceremonies. The members of a drill team usually wear intricate costumes with very vibrant colour and make up so they are visible from a distance.  

Some member of the drill team is responsible for giving the drill commands. Almost all military utilizes drill commands and the commands are given by a person who has excellent command voice. The one who has perfect command voice is when a person makes the correct use of tongue, lips and teeth to make sounds. The volume is supposed to be loud enough and the pitch should be prone to change all the time. The person giving the command should have the ability to throw his voice to what ever distance that the voice needs to be thrown.
