What Is The Oil To Gas Mixture For A 6hp Johnson Outboard Motor?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

A 2007 6hp Johnson outboard motor has a 4-stroke cycle, so uses no oil in the gas.

    A 2004 6hp Johnson outboard motor with a 2-stroke cycle uses a 25:1 gas:oil mixture during break-in and for "high performance", but a 50:1 mixture otherwise.

    Your mileage may vary.

The 2004 manual oldest one I could find on Johnson's Operator's Guide web site.
