 Katherine Ann Applegate has continued the legacy of writing science fiction and fantasy books which started decades ago. When people read her books, they always crave for more because the world, situations and the characters that she has created are so mesmerizing that people cannot get enough of it. Her stories have never concentrated on a particular age group. Her books and stories are open to everyone who enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy books. She also allows ghost-writers to continue her books so that her series never stop.

After reading her books, kids and young adults have always craved for the science fiction genre have taken a huge interest in it. Apart from writing science fiction and fantasy books, she has also written teen drama books which were known as the ‘Making Out’ series.
