There must have been a gas leakage from your air conditioner. It probably needs servicing. All air conditioners need to be serviced atleast once in a year, perhaps before the start of the season when they are the most needed. If gas leaks out from an air conditioner, it works no better than a fan.

- The filter of the AC is choked
- Gas of the AC is leak
- Problem in compressor or capacitor of the compressor.
