Knowing that growth is your goal (economically as well as general population) do you regulate big business, or leave them alone?

Answers
The answer lies somewhere in the middle. If the government
realizes that the purpose of regulation is to ensure growth for the business, and
in turn for the economy and if the big business realizes that apart from
maximizing profits, it has a responsibility as a corporate citizen then
following a middle ground between regulation and non-regulation adds more economic
value.
