Is Drooling A Sign Of The Virus Also?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

My cat began drooling and I didn't give it much thought as she  was getting older.  One day she just couldn't eat or clean herself.  I immediately took her to the vet but unfortunately she had developed a tumor under her tongue and had to be put down.  Apparently this is becoming more common according to my vet.  I would definately take your cat to the vet; I wish I had taken my sooner.

It took me years to clue in that cat's automatically drool sometimes when you pat and cuddle them-have two and only one does this much more than the other so really didn't notice this as a regular cat thing.  So if the cat is doing this when it's in cuddle mode you have nothing to worry about.  If you are worried the animal is ill do to other symptoms yes consult a vet asap.
