In The Diffraction Of Light, How Is The Image Formed?

It occurs when a light waves passes by a slit.

    In such a case, image is formed in the form of fringes or bands and these fringes are of two type dark fringes and the light ones. Bright fringes show the constructive interference and the light shows the destructive interference.
