What Does Dermatology Do In Medical Transcription?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Dermatology is a field of medicine. It is related to the skin, and its accessories. A person practicing dermatology is known as dermatologist. Medical transcription is a health profession and is also known as MT. It is related with the process of transcription and a person in this profession is known as medical transcriber. He is the person who is responsible for transcribing all the medical records of a patient into typewritten format.

There is no actual relation between dermatology and medical transcription except that supposing you are working as a medical transcriber for a dermatologist then you would need at least the basics of dermatology. Dermatology is a specialized field while there are no special qualifications required to become a medical transcriber.
