Debbie Macomber is an American author. She was born on 22 October, 1948 in the city of Yakima, Washington. She is one of the best-selling writers. She has written more than 150 romantic thrillers and romantic novels. She has also authored fictional novels on contemporary women. Around sixty million copies of her works are under printing throughout the world. In the year 1998, "This Matter of Marriage" one of her books was converted to movie especially made for T.V. Debbie became winner of "Quill Award" in 2005, she was selected according to public poll. She has also been awarded by RITA award Romance Writer of America. She has also achieved "B. Dalton" awards three times. However, Debbie has only completed her high school studies and was inspired by an author, which made her enter into the field of writing.
