The operations manager is responsible for the overall operations of a manufacturing concern. He is responsible for ensuring that all the manufacturing processes and the machinery is going on smoothly. He also supervises the whole manufacturing concern and its working. He is responsible for product handling, plant maintenance etc. He also handles the purchases, receiving, samplings, grading, shipping etc.
