What Does Paso Robles Mean?

Paso Robles is the name of city in the state of California in the United States. The cities full name is El Paso de Robles and it is located within the county of San Louis Obispo. The name of the city translates to "The Pass Of The Oaks" or "Oak Pass" in English.

The city has a population of approximately twenty four thousand three hundred and it covers an area of about forty five square kilometres. The city of "Paso", as known to the locals, lies in the south west corner of California and it is famous for its hot springs and the Mid State fair held in California.

A common feature in and around Paso Robles these days are huge wind farms, which generate electricity from wind.
