Usually, either you go to a phone service center or just call the phone service. But since you're not where you got the phone it might be hard.

No problem. Just visit a random shop who unlocks GSM (might be illegal in your country, don't blame me for not knowing every country's laws) and let them unlock it by a service box. Shouldn't cost you more than 15USD.
