Druid's Bottom is a mysterious mansion in the book Carrie's War. This novel was written by Nina Bawden in the year 1973. It is about a girl named Carrie who along with her brother Nick, is evacuated to Wales during the Second World War. It is the home shared by Albert, Hepzibah Green and Mister Johnny. Albert is a friend of Carrie and Nick, Mr Evans and his sister are an aged brother-sister duo. While Mr Evans is strict, short-tempered and has been described as a bit of an ogre his sister is said to be meek. This is the duo in whose home the two children, Carrie and Nick, stay when they are evacuated and sent to Wales. They enjoy visiting their friend Alfred, until Carrie makes a dreadful mistake. She does not speak about Druid's Bottom for three decades, by which time her children are all set to unravel the mysteries of the last thirty years and the legacy of Druid's Bottom.

It is believed to be a house inhabited by eerie people and possess a powerful curse that has existed since the ancient times.
