Llanbradach is a village in Wales. It is located in the county of Mid Glamorgan in Wales. It is located at a distance of less than three miles to the north of the village of Caerphilly. The population of Llanbradach comprises less than 5, 000 inhabitants. The village was famous for a colliery. The village has a history of coal mining. This dates back to the 1890's, when the coal mine was opened in the village. The coal mine of Llanbradach was at its peak of production in the 1930's. However, the colliery closed in the year 1961. Some of the buildings that belonged to the mine are still visible. They are located behind the village.

The village of Llanbradach is one of the most developed rural areas in the county of Mid Glamorgan in Wales. It has several pubs, a primary school, several shops, a recreation ground, a library, a hospital staffed by physicians who are competent in the field of surgery, a centre for the development of the local youth.
