What Is CPT Code Book?

CPT ® is the abbreviation for current procedural terminology. It is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association, which is abbreviated as the AMA.

The current procedural terminology code book is the book that contains the three categories of vaccine codes. These codes are broadly divided into category one vaccine codes, category two vaccine codes and category three vaccine codes.

It helps the parties who are interested in the code information and education which is published in the CPT ® code book to learn how the CPT ® codes are maintained, who are the committees who are involved in the maintenance of the CPT ® codes and the CPT ® educational symposium which is held every year. The AMA released a new set of CPT ® codes on January 1, 2007 and they are now scheduled for implementation.
