I was in the car with my dad when I asked him why lips are a pinkish color. I think he either thought it was too girly to answer or didn't know because he shrugged his shoulders. Does anybody know?

Hi, not all lips are pink. Pink lips are really pretty, first of all its nature,God creation. Secondly its because of vitamin in lips place. If someone wants to have pink lips apply lemon juice on them every night.

You can find pinkish, reddish and even brownish lips everywhere. That is because of the blood there as the lips are not covered by thick skin like the other parts of the body. So it's like you can see the flesh over there.

Pinkish lips are hot. I have them too and it's awesome because we don't have to worry about wearing lip gloss as much because it always looks like we are. just keep them mortized with chap stick.
