This is done by immersing the grease wool in a lukewarm, mildly alkaline solution, and then by rinsing it in water. It is basically defined as cleaning raw wool or fibres and removing the impurities present in it, such as dirt, sweat and grease from it. It is done by washing it with soaps and alkalise or with the help of chemicals. In other words, it is the process of washing fabric or yarn to remove the dirt or grease which is present in it.
