This is because as mercury is so close to the sun, it does not have an atmosphere. Venus’s amosphere is composed of 96 % of carbon. One day on venus is equivalent to 118 earth days. The temperature there is above 400 degrees centigrade. The temperature there is high that the rain evaporates before even touching the ground. Its heat index is 450 degrees centigrade to 480 degrees centigrades.

The solar heat enters, but it cannot leave. Thus, an oven is created. This is why Venus has no water. When it rains, the water evaporates before even touching the ground!
