    I Lost My NI Card But I Remember My NI Number, I Have Given My NI Number To My Employee But He Still Needs NI Card. Is This Legal?

    I just wanted to know what law says about, as i got the letter without the signature of PTM, is this right.

    If it is a newjob and you are in UK, then a p45 from previous employment should surface. If in the USA then I not sure how the system would work. Can't think of any legal reason why a NI card would need to be seen, it not a valid form of id.
