Well, what you're doing now, it something you can do, Blurtit. Another thing might be reading, pick something that might keep you on the edge of your seat as opposed to long and boring.
I love to crochet, but I doubt you would like that! It appears that you are a male. Try drawing, or carving with a dremel tool. Go make friends, or make friends on Blurtit, we are a friendly lot.
Try your hand at writing a story? Learn some cooking, not that you would like that, but you could try it. Hope this helps.

You could try planting a vegetable or flower garden. Your mom would probably enjoy the flowers and the fresh veggies.
You could also keep us blurters entertained some of the time.
Tigger gave you some great ideas. You just can't beat a really good book.

Clean out your closet, or anything else one may lack time for while working.  Write letters to all of those in which you have lost contact with.  Volunteer your time to a child who lacks a mentor in their life.  Teach the child how to do something creative that you are well versed at.  Start a scrapbook by pulling out all of those old pictures and ticket stubs.  All of these things can bring happy memories and a sense of achievement as well as a sense of well-being and contribution to oneself & others!  And don't forget about all your blurt-it friends!

Like I mentioned before, if there is an indoor water park or indoor amusement park. Going out to dinner with friends. Maybe finding that really special friend. You haven't had a lot of time to do much while you were in school, so, I bet you have some old interests that you might want to persue. You know you have all of us here at Blurtit. We love you Omer.

      answered 6 months ago

AH! Unfortunately no indoor waterpark here. No mentionable amusement park too. They say Indiana Jones is worth watching. What do you say. You all have really made me feel special. You are so special (Tears of happiness rolling out of my eyes).

If i were you, i would learn a new language I'm interested in during this summer, or you can take a part time job from home, not just for money, but do something that makes you feel satisfied with yourself and your current life. Of course, blurting is a nice choice as well, no matter what you do, just be happy. :) :) :)

Read something you've been meaning to read all these years.  Do you write?  I write poetry and sometimes short stories and essays.  Catch up on some movies you may have missed.  Go to an indoor swimming pool.  Do some volunteer work.  There are many organizations that need clerical help.  I drive patients to their treatments for the American Cancer Society.  Explore Blurtit.  Lots of groups to choose from.  Maybe you have some projects that you'd like to get to.  Do some work around your home.  Get in touch with someone you haven't seen or spoken to for a long time.  I love jigsaw puzzles. There's lots to do.  Have fun.

I agree. An indoor swimming pool is a great idea. Or a circuit center
where there's exercise going on. Also, maybe some indoor concerts.
Although, it IS nice being outside if one can stand the heat. I for one cannot take the heat too well. Hope this helped some.

Watch all your favourite DVDs.  Sleep in without feeling guilty.  Sunbathe in the garden.  Soak in a nice hot bath with a good book to read (Take care not to soak the book as well as yourself!)  Visit favourite places.  Telephone or email someone you have not seen/heard from for months.

Blurtit, Blurtit, Blurtit!  You won't notice that you are by yourself then!

A holiday at home is actually a round tuit.  So do some of the jobs you have been promising yourself you will do when you get a round tuit!  LOL

Make sure you do some of the fun things you have been saying you would love to do when you have the time - if you can remember what they are now you do have some time, that is.

Generally speaking, the more activity/relaxation/fun/useful jobs you have been wanting to get around to that you can pack in, the more enjoyable and restorative you will feel your holiday at home has been, when you finally return to work.

spend at least one day at walmart:

Ride those little electronic cars at the front of the store.

Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals throughout the day.

Try on bras over top of your clothes.
Walk up to an employee and tell him in an official tone, "I think we've got a Code 3 in  Housewares," and see what happens.
Tune all the radios to a polka station; then turn them all off and turn the volumes to "10".
Walk up to complete strangers and say, "Hi! I haven't seen you in so long!..." etc.  See if they play along to avoid embarrassment.
while walking through the clothing department, ask yourself loud enough for all to hear,  "Who BUYS this shit, anyway?"
Try putting different pairs of women's panties on your head and walk around the  store casually.

As the cashier runs your purchases over the scanner, look mesmerized and say, "Wow. Magic!"

Move "Caution: Wet Floor" signs to carpeted areas.

Set up a tent in the camping department; tell others you'll only invite them in if they  bring pillows from Bed and Bath.

Contaminate the entire auto department by sampling all the spray air fresheners.

Drape a blanket around your shoulders and run around saying, "...I'm Batman. Come,  Robin--to the Batcave!"

Randomly throw things over into neighboring aisles.

Play with the calculators so that they all spell "hello" upside down.

When someone asks if you need help, begin to cry and ask, "Why won't you people  just leave me alone?"

When two or three people are walking ahead of you, run between them, yelling, "Red Rover!"

Look right into the security camera, and use it as a mirror while you pick your nose.

Take up an entire aisle in Toys by setting up a full scale battlefield with G.I. Joes vs. The X-Men.

Take bets on the battle described above.

While handling guns in the hunting department, suddenly ask the clerk if he knows where the  anti-depressants are. Act as spastic as possible.

Leave cryptic messages on the typewriters.

Dart around suspiciously while humming the theme from "Mission:Impossible."

Attempt to fit into very large gym bags.

      "Re-alphabetize" the CD's in Electronics.

In the auto department, practice your "Madonna" look with various funnels.

While walking around alone, pretend someone is with you and get into a very  serious conversation i.e:
"How could you do this to me? I thought you loved me! I knew there was another girl,  but I thought I had won. You kissed ME darling." Then act as though you are being  beaten and fall onto the ground screaming and having convulsions."

When an announcement comes over the loudspeaker, assume the fetal position and  scream, "No, no! It's those voices again!"

Go to an empty checkout stand and try to check people out.

drag a lounge chair on display over to the magazines and relax. If the store has a food  court, buy a soft drink; explain that you don't get out much, and ask if they can put a little  umbrella in it.

Get a stuffed animal and go to the front of the store and begin stroking it lovingly,  saying "Good girl, good bessie."

When someone steps away from their cart to look at something, quickly make off with it  without saying a word.

Follow people through the aisles, always staying about five feet away. Continue to do this  until they leave the department.

Test the fishing rods and see what you can "catch" from the other aisles.

In the makeup department, spray yourself with every perfume there is, then walk up to a  boy who is with another girl and start flirting with him in that annoying, ditsy way. "hi!!!!  (giggle) What's your sign? (giggle)." When the boy shows no interest, start hitting on the girl  the exact same way. "hi!!!! (giggle) What's your sign?(giggle)."

Re-dress the mannequins as you see fit.

.When there are people behind you, walk REALLY SLOW, especially thin narrow aisles.

challenge other customers to duels with tubes of gift wrap.

Ride a display bicycle through the store; claim you're taking it for a "test drive."
