Do not give the dog tylenol or any kind of medication especially if you plan to take it to the vet. Aspirin is what dogs are allowed but it is probably not necessary or recommended until bleeding is no longer an issue. Your first concern is stopping the bleeding and cleaning the wound. Depending on how large and/or deep the wound is you can take these steps. If it is just a puncture or two the bleeding would have stopped by now and you can use peroxide to flush it. If you keep the punctures clean and no infection develops a trip to the vet is probably not necessary. (clean 2x a day and check for swelling frequently if any develops call your vet to see what they recommend, they will probably recommend an antibiotic) if the wound is more like a tear and is about 1 inch long but not terribly deep or gaping you can probably follow the same routine. If there are one or more large wounds take him to the vet as soon as you can he may need stitches or specialized care. Good Luck

I am a medical assistant not a doctor.  I would suggest giving her tylenol and rotating it with Motrin.  You will have to look on the back of the medication for the proper dosage or call a pharmacy.  You can not give Motrin to an infant under 6 months of age, it is not recommended.  Also, aspirin is not good it is a blood thinner so I would stay away from that.  Make sure you keep the wound clean use peroxide will help.  I would keep it clean and wrapped.  You may want to have her checked out for rabies, you can call her doctor and see what he/she thinks.  If she is bleeding too bad, take her to the doctor she may need stitches if the wound is too deep.  Also, apply direct pressure to the bleeding to stop the bleeding.  Also, change the bandage frequently.  I would worry about rabies though.  Are you going to file charges against the dogs owner?  The dogs owner should be liable for any damages, especially if it happened in a park.  Good luck.

Depending on how deep the bite is you may need to see the vet.  Stitches may be necessary.  In addition to the peroxide, warm soap and water would be preferable.  If it's not bleeding, keep it clean and dry and don't let the dog bite at thewoulnd.  Call your vet in the AM for professional guidance as tot he rabies vaccine.  Good luck!
