Try the local Humane Society. I think a lot of people are acting responsible and sterilizing their pets in order to control the pet population. There's still a lot of kittens around, you'll see.

Most of the kittens are born around spring and early summer. If you do visit your local humane society in May, June, July, you should find some kittens. My local humane society told me that they get anywhere from 20-30 kittens a week sometimes in the summer months. Good Luck finding a kitten, I'm looking for one also.
