What Is The Sum Of The Exterior Angles Of A Hexagon?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The sum of the exterior angles for any convex polygon is 360.  So it doesn't really matter if it was a hexagon, octagon, or a polygon with 50 sides.

If you wanted to know that measure of each of the exterior angles (assuming that the shape was regular... Meaning that the exterior angles are all congruent), then you could take 360 and divide it by the number of sides.
Example for the hexagon:  360/6 = 60 degrees each
