I Purchased A 1999 Dodge Caravan (used). The Radio/cd Player Is A Clarion. How Do I Set The Clock?

The car is not a very old one, but it is still a few years old and is used. In that case, there are two possible reasons why you are having trouble resetting the clock. The clock is an integral part of the radio/compact disc player (which is abbreviated as the CD player). It is immaterial what make the radio/CD player of your used Dodge Caravan (1999 model), because though you have a Clarion radio/CD player, the main problem is resetting the clock which is a part of the radio/CD player of your car.

First of all, you have to set the time manually. Then you must get professional help to check whether the wiring on the back of the Clarion radio/CD player has come loose. Once he has verified (and tightened) that, he must check whether the battery is on the verge of dieing. If so, you will notice, that the battery is unable to keep a steady charge going to the radio/CD player. It is because of this that it cannot hold the time. The best professionals you could go to with your problem would actually be your local Dodge dealership.
