How do I oil my janome dc3018 sewing machine?

    The rule is not to use too much of oil. You need to oil the moving parts of the machine, particularly around the bobbin (base of machine). Normally the front of the machine opens from the foot, the shaft that moves the needle needs few drops of oil. There are lots of holes and small pieces on the backside of the machine, open that and oil the moving pieces. Manually move the wheel to check the parts move and the oiling is done properly. After oiling, make sure to run a few lengths of scrap cloth through the machine to get rid of extra oil that may otherwise stick to the piece of clothes that you are making.
