What Are Some Good Beaches Close To Kentucky?
Just trying to find a good beach close to Kentucky that doesn't take 13 hours to get to. We're taking a vehicle and are looking for something like myrtle beach.

Need more information are you flying or driving to these beaches. And what type of beaches are you looking for? Man-made or natural? Four hour flight and car ride to Florida's beaches. Michigan lake beaches about 9 hours by car or a three hour flight and a hour car ride.

something like myrtle beach. would go there but its getting old. Would like to try some where new. And we're driving.
well if i was going to suggest something fun and near a beach i would go with geauga lake which is right next to sea world . which is just a little ways from lake erie beaches. http://www.myrollercoaster.com/geauga.html
A few good beaches near Kentukcy are Long Island Beach and Hamilton Beach. Apart from these beaches you can find several other forms of recreation through hiking, rafting and fishing in lakes.
