What Is The Difference Between A Hawk And A Falcon?

Explain difference between two types of bird a hawk and a falcon.

    For starters Falcons have a notch/bulge on their bills that they use to dispatch their prey whilst Hawks don't. Secondly Falcons have longer wings and tend to hunt other birds as well as ground prey, Hawks have shorter wings and tend to just hunt for their prey on the ground.

      A Falcon is 1/2 the size of a hawk
      A Falcon flies fast with rapid wing beats. The Hawk has a slow flight often with glides
      A Falcon is a very fast hunter, the Hawk is slow
      Falcon "dive bomb" people during nesting, if they are close to their nests
