You have to first get a case, then a motherboard and cpu. Depending on what you want to use it fore, you have to get the appropriate cpu and mother board. Next is to get a hard drive and ram. Dvd rom, and maybe a power supply (if the case didnt some with it) it usually takes about 30 minutes to put it all together. All the instructions come with the motherboard, on where everything goes.  Then install windows, and then all your drives that came with all the devices that you installed. If you don't install the drives, the correct ones, chances are you pc wont run smooth. Then get am antivirus and your done. It really is as simple as it sounds. I build them on my spare time and and it take me like 20 minutes...
