I Heard You Produce Two Eggs Per Month After Having A Baby For Up To 9 Months. Is This True?

I've heard that because you don't produce any eggs when you are pregnant that after you have a baby you produce two eggs per month for 9 months. And my son is 6 months old, so I was wondering if this is true.

This absolutely not possible. During pregnancy ovulation remain suppress and after delivery, if you are lactating or feeding your baby, then prolactin levels are high so ovulation remain suppress. If no breast feeding than, there is possibility of ovulation but not two eggs. At a time only one egg is produced from one ovary. Two eggs can be produce rarely but not dependent on pregnancy or delivery. It is usually side effect of ovulation inducers like clomiphene.
