What's Causing The Rhythmic Buzzing On My Recording?

I was recording with a uni-directional mic and a buzz was appearing on the recording at a rate of about one "buzz" per second (not a constant "buzzzzzzzzzzz.") This mic never did this before on other recordings in the past two weeks. Any ideas on the problem, those of you who record music/sound?

Sounds like sixty cycle hum. Your mic or cable must be near a lamp or an outlet or a dimmer. Move it away or turn off the offending light and it should stop.
