Can You Define The Terrorism And Jihad, concept?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Jihad means the struggle to cleanse oneself and to struggle in the path of Allah in order to win his grace. Jihad does not necessarily mean an armed struggle. Even this extremist connotation was given to Jihad by America itself who funded and encouraged a radicalization of the Muslim faith during the struggle with former communist powers and after those ends were achieved they were simply abandoned. Islamic terrorism is simply a case of a boomerang coming home to America. There is no compatibility between the idea of Jihad and Terrorism. The prophet had strictly forbidden uprooting of trees, vandalizing, raping, pillaging or mistreating the innocent during war. Likewise, that tradition was upheld by all succeeding Muslim rulers who strictly adhered to those principles and only fought those who took up arms. This so called terrorism is actually a response to the Western dominant policies which resulted in poverty and strife in many parts of the world and is actually a response to the inhumane treatment meted out to them.
