    I Have Had Midsection Pain For Many Years. I Had My Gallbladder Removed Because Of It. Yet The Pain, A Stabbing, Breathtaking Pain, Located Just Under Both Ribs, Still Persists With No Known Cause. Would Anyone Have Any Suggestions?

    Are you a woman? Get checked for IBS. It might be your gastrointesintal system. I had the same pain.

    Did you ever find out what was the cause of this pain? I, too, am in the exact same situation. I had my gallbladder (and appendix) out in Nov., yet the constant, breathtaking, squeezing pain is still present. It's worse when I eat. What did you find out?
