I have an African Leopard tortoise named Franklyn. I have had him for about 9 years and he has never hibernated. He lives in an indoor, heated, environment during the frigid winter and spends most of the summer in an outdoor cage. Franklyn does not move as much in his outdoor cage but does move more than I would expect a hibernating tortoise would do. Is this normal? If not what can I do?
Yes b/c i had plenty of turtles as pets and they don't hibernate do to the temperature in your house and plus they are fed more often as pets than in the outdoor environment!!!!!!!!
