Why Is My Cat Throwing Up:?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

What is he throwing up? Food, liquid, or hair? If it's hair then it's just a hairball and nothing to worry about. If you're feeding your cat dry food he is probably eating too much. It gets wet in his stomach and expands causing him to throw up. If this is the case you should feed him small quantities of food many times a day. If it's liquid, he might be sick.

It is also important to note that if he is throwing up very frequently for whatever reason, he is losing potassium which could lead to serious trouble.
