What Is The Address Of Island Gardens Tube Station?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Island Gardens tube station is located on Manchester Road, between Stebondale Street and Manchester Grove. The station's postal code is: E14 3DN. The station is situated directly north of the River Thames.

The current, rebuilt Island Gardens station opened in November 1999, replacing the original station. The station is located in Zone 2, on the Docklands Light Railway's  Lewisham line, between Mudchute and Cutty Sark stations.

The Island Gardens station has automatic ticket machines available for passengers to use, but currently lacks a number of other services and facilities, such as shops, public washrooms and taxi stands. The station is, however, a good point of transfer, as one can connect to the D3, D7 and N50 buses.

During the morning rush hour, there are trains departing the station every three minutes, while during the rest of the day, trains arrive and depart at 5 minute intervals. The last train to Lewisham leaves the Island Gardens station at 12:49am.
