How Do You Transfer 8mm Video Tapes To A DVD?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

You cannot transfer 8mm video tapes to DVD without a hi8 camcorder. If you have the camcorder you can use certain soft wares available in computer hardware/software stores. These soft wares enable you to dump or transfer the footage on the tape to your computer and further allow you burn it on a DVD. An easier, yet a little more expensive, way to go bout transferring your VHS tapes to DVD is to take your tapes to a video duplicator in your area and have them transferred on to a DVD professionally. If you do not know of any such place, you can always check up online for several service providers who can pick up your tapes from home, transfer them, and deliver the DVD to your home.
