Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The book 'Adrian Mole, The Cappuccino Years' was set in the late 1990's and was written in the year 1999. Most of the book unravels in Soho, where the protagonist, Adrian Mole is presently living. While describing the various state of affairs that our A-class chef finds himself in, the book also presents a rather shrewd view of the life in England at the time.

The Cappuccino Years was the 6th in the line of Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole series. The book describes Adrian status, as being 30 years with one failed marriage, an old and now successful love interest and a fancy job.

This particular book was also made into a television show which, was broadcasted by BBC. The book, also provides readers with, an overly in depth analysis into Adrian's family, his divorced parents, one of whom is having an affair and his sister who is now living with her deviant boyfriend.
