Portugal experiences warm, contintental temperatures much of the year bringing sunshine and dry weather.
Rain and cooler weather is more common in the winter, however around coastal areas in the North of the country it can be rainy during summer months also.
Portugal makes a good alternative to Spain as a holiday destination, with a relatively quick flight transfer time also from the UK.
