Can You Tell Me The Difference Between Regular Dvd's And Blueray Dvd's?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A Blu-ray Disc is written and read using a blue laser, which has a shorter wavelength than the red laser used for standard DVDs and CDs. The smaller wavelength means that information can be stored in a smaller spot, allowing more to be packed into the same area. A double layer BD will hold about 50 GB, ≈6 times the capacity of a DVD.
