How Do I Know If I've Lost Weight?

The most obvious (or silly) answer would be that you weigh less on the scales, however this is not strictly true. If you are following a diet regime of healthy eating and regular exercise then you may find that the actual 'weight' lost is not that great.
When you are exercising you are building up strong and healthy muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat. So if you are building some nice strong muscles then you could find your weight could remain fairly stable.

The best way to judge your weight loss is by looking at your body shape. Do some of your clothes feel a little more generous than they used to?
The most definite way to know is by taking measurements regularly of your problem areas eg. stomach, hips.
Measure yourself every 2 - 4 weeks and you will see that that is where the true result of your weight loss will be shown.
