Any Tips On Watching Game Animals In Kruger National Park?

Answer Question

Study your park guide and map. These will indicate the best spots to see wildlife. Watering holes are good bets, so long as you get there at the right time. Late afternoon and early evening before it gets dark is an excellent time and so to is dawn before the heat of the day gets too intense.

Drive slowly and keep your eyes peeled. Passengers with binoculars will be a big help in spotting animals.

Once you have observed animals, park and switch off your eye. Keep quiet and be patient. Guaranteed whatever you have spotted will have been watching you too. Often curiosity will get the better of them, and they will re-emerge to see what you are doing.

Many of the animals in the park have grown quite used to visitors and tend to ignore them for the most part, going about their business as normal. However, do not leave your vehicle for a closer look. These animals are still dangerous.
