My Washer Won't Agitate But Spins. Belt?
GE washer fills but will not agitate. Does spin though? Is it a belt?

Hmm well, there could be loads of reasons for this. Not only belt, but if you think its the belt then there are many washing machines that have more than one belt. Some of them usually have two belts. It might happen because the belt is broken or completely worn. The best thing you could do is to replace it. It might be because the the inside of the agitator is fully worn and it high time that you replace your agitator or the transmission spline.

Before that check if the timer is working properly. Because if the timer is defective the machine the washer spins but not agitate.
